PPGI & PPGL, known in full as Prepainted Galvanized Steel & Prepainted Galvalume Steel, are also referred to as pre-coated or color-coated steel coils. These products originate from hot-dip galvanized, hot-dip galvalume, and electro-galvanized steel sheets. Through meticulous surface pretreatment, a single or multiple layers of organic coating are applied, followed by baking and solidification. These color-coated steel coils boast a lightweight structure, attractive aesthetics, superior anti-corrosion properties, and are easily processable. Available in a palette of colors like gray, sea blue, and brick red, they find extensive applications across advertising, construction, decoration, home appliances, electrical goods, the furniture industry, and transportation. The coatings for these coils are selected based on environmental conditions and include resin types such as polyester, silicon-modified polyester, polyvinyl chloride plastisol, and polyvinylidene chloride, among others.
